Planning
The Town of Hay River Planning Division is responsible for the distribution of information and advice to Council, landowners, the general public and to the development industry in regards to land use planning. This division also administers the Town’s Official Plan, the Zoning Bylaw and the development approvals process. Research is conducted into a variety of land use planning matters, which include changing territorial policy and emerging issues affecting a broad range of environmental, social and economic factors that contribute to our community.
