Healthy Community Strategy
The Hay River Healthy Community Strategy 2024 – 2034 and Background report documents have been produced by the interagency Healthy Communities Committee through extensive engagement within the community. The proposed strategy sets tangible actions to improve interagency collaboration, provide safe, diverse healthy housing, ensure diverse recreation and learning opportunities, develop vibrant, beautiful landscapes, strengthen the local economy, and build respectful relationships and inclusive representation of Indigenous peoples within the community.
