An Introductory Psycho-Education Skills-Based Workshop
An introduction to understanding the impact of trauma (anything experienced as overwhelming). Overview of how trauma can affect us emotionally, mentally, and biologically. Learn some skills and resources on how to work with yourself or others that have experienced trauma so as to minimize affects on individuals and our community.
Who Can Attend?: Free for anyone (17 yrs +) interested in learning about the effects of trauma on adults, youth, & kids
When? Saturday & Sunday, March 10 & 11 – 10:00AM – 4:30PM
Where? Hay River Metis Council Office (Industrial Area)
