Active Start FUNdamentals Registration formThe Hay River Try-it Day will be an opportunity for individuals with an intellectual disability to try our Special Olympic Sports. Active Start & FUNdamentals is a family-centered activity program for children with an intellectual disability ages 2-11.

On December 8th, there will be Special Olympics NWT coaches and athletes showcasing Rhythmic Gymnastics & Swimming for new athletes of Hay River! New athletes will be encouraged to come join in the fun and give something new a try!
We will also provide a lunch to registered athletes to ensure energy levels are high throughout the day!

To ensure the safety and well being of those who take part, please review the attached ‘athlete qualification’ document to ensure that yourself or those that you care for qualify to take part in Special Olympics sports.
