Wildfire and Flood events are the biggest emergency risks in the Town of Hay River area. It is the responsibility of each citizen to be prepared to evacuate should there be a requirement. Please refer to the brochure below for more details.
Pre-Register for an Evacuation
The Pre-Registry Program is available during the Wildfire and Flood Seasons to allow an opportunity to identify and support individuals who may have special needs in the event of an evacuation. If you or a family member would require special transport or medical assistance during an evacuation, preregister by calling 1-833-699-0188 or via the online form. Pre-Register for an Evacuation
