At Town Hall

Town Hall hours of operation are 10am -3pm, outside of those hours and you require any assistance, please call 867-874-6522.

At the front counter (Cash, Interac, Cheque). The Town of Hay River Municipal Offices are located at 100-62 Woodland Drive.

Online

Pay your water bill and property tax ONLINE! Search “Hay River” as a Payee in the Bill Payment section of your online/telephone banking. Please note this is only available through CIBC or Royal Bank.

For water use: “Hay River (Town) Utilities” or similar.

For property tax use: “Hay River (Town) Taxes” or similar

Or

You can pay accounts receivable, utility and property tax bills online through E-Transfer by using the email arclerk@hayriver.com.  Please make sure to include a description of the item you are paying for in the message section of the E-Transfer.

Credit Card

The Town of Hay River is now accepting credit card payments through “Option Pay”. When using option pay, rates will apply and can be found at https://www.optionpay.ca/tiered-rate-table . Option pay credit card payments can be made through the following link https://www.optionpay.ca/payment/town-of-hay-river/index.php .

It is critical that when making payments through Option Pay all required fields are populated properly.

For Property Tax payments: Under Type select “Tax”, then utilize the full property tax roll number for the property for which you wish to make payment.

For Water Utility payment: Select “Utilities” then use the full thirteen (13) digit account number.

For Business “Permits/Licenses”: please included a detailed description and contact phone number in the comments field.
