Councillor Dawna O'Brien

Councillor O'Brien is currently serving her second term as Town Councillor. She has been a resident and homeowner in Hay River since 1995. She has served in numerous volunteer capacities within our community during her 14 year residency. She is a 22 year employee of the Government of the Northwest Territories, currently working as a Career Services Officer with the Department of Education. Prior to moving to Hay River, Councillor O'Brien served as Member's Service Officer to the Legislative Assembly for a period of six years. Councillor O'Brien loves living in the community of Hay River and anticipates living here for many years to come.
